Offer

'Leylong Leylong...got discount!!'

Haa...nope. That is not the kind of Offer im refering to here.

Yesterday...(all my troubles seem so far away...lalalaa...heh) I made 3 offers to X...in particular the 1st 2 offers were about food...brought food but dun wan eat...wan to buy also dun wan. The 3rd is about helping to carry this load...also no.

Then later the night, it was my turn to be made an offer from Y. The offer was to send me to the airport...but v quickly I said no...did not want to trouble him.

In both cases, becoz each individual thot that something can be accomplished on their own, so they did not take up the offers.

Coming to think about it...we often say 'no' bcoz we dun wan to trouble ple...and becoz we are capable of doing something. But when someone offers something on their part, it means they are more than willing to help or do something for another person...which means they are more than happy to do certain things. So by allowing the offer to be transacted, everyone will be happier, isn't it.

Sometimes, its not about being (head)strong, but to let other ple 'feel strong'. Even though we can accomplish something on our own, but ple offer liao, just step back a little, and allow the person who made the offer to help/do, i think the person will feel v much appreciated and helpful too.

Human-Human relations...can be made more vibrant by little offers from ple around us...coz normally offers come from within...and if allowed to be carried out...the personal touch from 1 translates to 2. So the next time someone makes an offer to us...let us not be too quick to judge or say 'no'...for tt may really be an (offer) discount to the human-ties between 2 ple...

Comments:
