Library@Bishan 300906
Decided to go check out the library at Bishan since I was to wait for my car (servicing). The library has caught my eyes a few weeks back with its trendy outlook and crowd bustling walk-ins walk-outs.
Stepping in, can feel the class and brightness inside. There are alot of chairs/sofas and alot of schoolchildren inside mugging (or pretending to be mugging). Alot of parents bringing their age 3-7 kids browsing for children books, cartoons, discs etc...
在最高的一层楼找到了一个靠窗的沙发椅。把即将阅完的书本拿出。那独自、清静(虽然 its not 清静 at all, coz the general trend of library has changed...with ple mugging in groups, sitting all over...even on the floors...and with chit-chatting all over and hps beeping here and there...but 清静 in the sense that im indulged in my own reading and free from other things) 和享阅的滋味渐渐入侵我的世界里。
Set a time to go back and collect car, but then, it started raining. Decided to carry on reading, and since im down to the last few pages of the books, 决定把它读完。也终於，我把《死神首曲II》‘干掉’了...也代表我终於把《死神首曲》系列读完了。
也恰好，最近我也读完了 Tuesdays With Morrie...and this book can be linked to The 5 People You Meet In Heaven.(pics of these 2 bks will upload again once i can snap them as they are currently with a fren) So tying in all these 4 books (2 english 2 chi)...这四本书的共同点就是：生命/死亡的意义和重要性。当然，当中还有很多影射性的人生/再生观点。
不想在这里做 book reviews...all i wanna say is that 读了这四本书，对人生观的启发性很大。recommend these 4 books to anyone of a relatively decent age.
Some observations in the library other than those schoolchildren. 2 Sofas opp. me (side by side)...a couple...the lady was reading, the guy was toying with the discs borrowed on his laptop...the sofa beside me, after a guy left, 1x father brought along 2 little gals to confirm and check out the discs/cartoons they borrowed...they left, a mother and a daughter came along and tried squeezing into the sofa; they left for the 2x sofas behind me shortly...and then came along a father with 1x little boy who is about 2 or 3 yrs old...the little kid climbed onto the sofa and peered at me while his dad checked out the discs on the shelves...i smiled at the little boy and he played abit of peek-a-boo at me b4 his dad collected him and they moved off...
Got me thinking: maybe there will be lots more chances to spend at the librarlibraries in the duno-when future...

not bad huh.. can kill 4 books at a time. heehee... hmm ya, fully agree that 独自、清静 stay in library reading to read something is realy good.. But stay at home do reading also very good too.. :)
haha.. din expect you also do chinese reading... cos all my frends do english reading.. haa... they told me that chinese reading is very tiring.. which I don agree... ^_^

ha yes, actualy it doesnt really matter where...as long as ur in the mood to read...actually during IMF i also finished 1x book at the airport, it was Tuesday With Morrie...
chi reading is tiring for those who dun like chi ba...normally is like dat...
